The recipe is finally here for this sticky teriyaki rice bowl ! Crispy bites of chicken tossed in a teriyaki sauce paired with sticky rice and broccoli.

4 boneless chicken breast cut into bite sized pieces

2 tbsp green seasoning

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup flour + 1/4 cup corn starch for coating

1/4 cup dark soy sauce

1 tbsp chili garlic paste

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp fish sauce (optional)

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

2 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp sesame seeds
- finely chopped chive

Season chicken with green seasoning, salt, black pepper, onion and garlic powder. In another bowl combine flour, corn starch, salt and black pepper.

Toss chicken in flour mixture until fully coated and fry on medium heat until golden brown.

To make sauce, in a medium sauce pan combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, fish sauce, sesame oil and honey. Allow sauce to simmer until it reaches your desired consistency, finish it off with some chopped chives and toasted sesame seeds.

Add fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat the chicken. Serve hot over sticky rice (cooked according to package) with a side of steamed or pan roasted broccoli. You can add any other fresh or roasted veggies you like!
