A chocolate-y classic! This is how I like my banana bread, extra chocolate, dense but still cake-y, think brownie-banana bread hybrid!

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 2 1/3 cup mashed, overripe banana
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips

- Preheat oven to 350F and grease and line loaf pan
- Cream butter and sugar, then slowly add eggs, vanilla and bananas until well combined
- Whisk flour, salt, cocoa powder and baking soda until evenly mixed.
- Stir wet mixture into flour with nuts and chocolate chip until, lightly just to moisten, clumps are ok! Do not overwork it
- Bake for 65-70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan
